    Wow! I was testing the demo of today. Absolutely amazing what can be done in realtime these days without caching. Would be nice to define the look of your sim here and then transfer those settings to Houdini to achieve the same look.

    Finished integrating fire into my robot crab explosions. Used a weighted, blended order-independent transparency system for the sprite overlays, plus some blooming. Next step is to try out some smoke sims.

    Working on a bow and arrow game in and decided to put to use. Fire animation speeds up as you move around, and the fire tends to react to the wind. It's not perfect yet, but quite promising. The effect looks pretty volumetric too.
