    A2: sometimes the lack of specific policies impact how we move. It’s hard to feel protected when a district or a school doesn’t have policies in place to protect SOC, let alone adults. When districts prioritize equity through official policy it gives us a voice and

    A4: Many hands = light work. We need to build stronger bonds across EOC rather than look for affirmation outside of our own people. That said, there's work for our white co-conspirators to be doing as well. Looking for some John Brown type allies.

    A2: I think patriarchy has a major role here as well. I've been thinking lately about how difficult it is to prioritize teacher wellness and happiness and how that's probably tied to the perception of teaching as a women's profession.

    Job fairs for TOC like CJpride allow for recruitment for districts committed to diversifying their teacher force. Teacher mentor/buddy prog to support new & struggling teachers. Professional development that is authentic and allows Ts to strengthen or learn new skills...
