Date night - saw ! Good adaptation, welcome changes to the story to reflect today's values. Plus two very hot Rachels get it on (am I allowed to say that, or does it sound weird?)

Tonight I saw at and loved it. Slow-paced but beautiful film with the most glorious, heart-wrenching shot toward the end. Emotional performances from Rachel Weisz and Rachel McAdams and an engaging story about the conflicts of faith, desire and sexuality.

150 pages in and IT IS WORKING: the blues are being beaten. The chapter on sheitel wigs threw me straight back into and and it was a curious moment of interests n loves colliding. TOTALLY SATISFYING - and more so for being utterly unexpected.

, what was that ending? The Op Eds I read last year lead me to believe I could count on queer movies to be unambiguously happy now. Or maybe that was my wishful thinking? Now that I think about it, I only read the headlines ...
