#Detroit, 14th St, 1988-2021. Michael J Carden's b/w photos documented structures in late '80's Detroit. Taken on the east side of 14th between Ash & Butternut, the first showed a strip of occupied homes, and the second a dilapidated corner duplex house. All were gone by 2000.

#Detroit, Trumbull Ave, 1988-2021. This block is on the west side of Trumbull between Temple & Butternut. The group of turn of the century homes didn't make it much past 100, torn down by 2000 after years of neglect. The $18,700 "Handyman's Special" was the house in the center.
