    Before I joined DSA, I did paid youth organizing work for a few years. In 2016, as part of that, I was on the steering committee for an action called that was going to 'force a vote' on fundamental democracy reforms through direct action at the Capitol.

    Here's something I learned after helping organize a bunch of unstrategic actions related to the 2016 DNC: moral urgency and strategic urgency are not the same, and righteousness is not a plan for success.
