  4. 30 years have passed since the Montreal Massacre, but the impact of this crime remains the same. It is important to remember as we pay our respects to the women who have lost their lives to violence, that we continue to stand up against violence against women.

  20. Take time today to remember the 14 young women who were murdered simply for being women. Violence against women continues to happen in Canada and around the world, much of it directed at Indigenous, racialized and trans people. We must end this hate.
