    They’re not always armed. Sometimes they’re naked in the rain on the street at night. Anyway, once they have a knife, the priority is de-escalation, not wondering how they got a knife.

    I’m just trying to clarify here... bc I’ve seen many opinions and the number one is “but he charged him with a knife, which is a deadly weapon”... so, I ask, what about ? He had no weapon; just spit and nudity. Apparently, being mentally ill is a death sentence too.
