I'm so hurt by the fact people are trying to spin this situation at #DaltonHighSchool as a political/media ploy. I was running to the nearby elementary school in pouring rain while I sobbed on the phone to my mother and locked arms with my friends. The fear was real, this is real

So they said a teacher was arrested today after barricading himself in a classroom to "attempt" to shoot himself.... So he either was real life about to commit suicide on school grounds OR just sacrificed himself to stop this whole "arm teachers" bullshit. #DaltonHighSchool

#daltonhighschool hello am a student in Dalton. High School. This lockdown wasnt fake. A teacher that i have had brought a gun to school. Today I lived the worst day of my life. Knowing that my life was at risked today. Was a feeling I can't describe. Thank you for your prayers.

I am a student at dalton High and had Mr. Davidson 1st period this morning. He is one of my favorite teachers, and it’s hard to believe he brought a gun to school. It’s even harder to believe that he had a gun with him this morning while he was teaching my class #DaltonHighSchool
