Thanks for sharing. Relational rods are a great tool for exploring equality. Students can see how, for example, yellow+yellow+yellow+red is the same as orange+yellow+red is the same as orange+dark green+white OR 5+5+5+2 = 10+5+2 = 10+6+1

Using 3-D solids to investigate how many edges, vertices, faces, etc ..2 groups worked using 2 similar solids simultaneously & then met to discuss & compare results. When their findings didn’t match they had to defend/prove it!Groups cont. presenting Monday!
