Given the following in C++(you might be surprised): unsigned short x=0xFFFF; unsigned short y=0xFFFF; auto z=x*y; std::cout << z; Without checking, assuming an LP64 system what is the result: A. 4294836225 B. -131071 C. fffe0001 D. Undefined behavior

Did in by: 1. nasal demons ... fill in details on your own, I am sure it will be worse that way
2. a #CppPolls quiz taker screaming "The world makes no sense!" 3. my C++ cursed code that just happens to also invoke some ancient curse by accident of keming https://twitter.com/redpenblackpen/status/1220420466936025088 …

We just published a new question! This one is based on one of
@shafikyaghmour's excellent#cpppolls, straight from#CppCon. http://cppquiz.org/quiz/question/273 … -
tbh with my
#cppPolls I usually did not know the answer before running into the problem that motivated the quiz. It is ok not to know the answer. The process of coming up with a rationale for your answer is important and then reconciling that w/ the correct answer later on. -
A fun one from
