No mention of Cuddly Kenneth Clarke’s time as Health Secretary and covering up The given to haemophilic’s in the 80’s, It’s really strange people/MPs conveniently forget about that part of Mr Clark’s political history. He could still face legal action hopefully

My biggest fear is exactly this scenario, Carol. I tell myself not to think about it, but it does no good.

given that the UK Gov has no intention of helping victims of NHS what's the chances of the SNP increasing payments to those affected/infected this year, it's been 3 years since the package was implemented but the cost of living is forever increasing

Even though it was 20 years ago, it scares me when I remember the horrific side effects of 12 months on interferon and the huge impact it had on my family and work. Lost a very good job and the debts escalated quickly. #

There’s 99 beneficiaries in NI, the maths has never added up. £4-8k? Even at £8k each, it’s £792k 🤨 So where’s the money going

  15. This is outrageous. Three days ago victims of in NI were given £1m in overdue backdated support payments. Now a massive roadblock from the department of health NI - and only £400,000 to distribute?

  16. Trying to reflect on what I know & seeing the bigger picture. There’s so many unanswered questions that we have to wait to be answered. That doesn’t scream “urgency” or “rapid progress”. Why is Scotland’s position being undermined?

Ministers reject calls for immediate compensation for infected blood victims. Lots of talk of 'rapid progress' and 'urgency' but the UK government's actions don't match the rhetoric. Which is depressingly unsurprising.
