    'Oh look there's a silly cyclist being an absolute danger to themselves, by not wearing a helmet'. Thankfully they're optional in the UK, I choose to wear a helmet, but there needs to be a move away from underlying victim blaming.

    Interested to know whether this has made a difference? Feel self selectiveness of being caught in the act is a bit limited in reach. Radical idea - make it mandatory for learner drivers to complete training, & for anyone else to do it at next license renewal. Thoughts?

    It doesn't mean that I don't think driver behaviour is a problem. I actively take part in initiatives and give out tickets / report drivers where appropriate

    Why oh why oh why oh why do they always false equivalence 🚴‍♂️with 'but we'll tackle bad cycling as well' 🤨 and do motorcyclists get close passed,mopeds maybe do,but stop diluting the message🙄

    Missing the point? In the dark, cyclists are req'd to have lights/reflectors. *Reflectives* are recommended; hi-vis colour alone e.g. fluo-yellow, is ineffective. For my dark commute I have all this & more (5 lights)...
