A painting just to have a goo at. For no great reason. "Through a Burren Wall" was painted 5 years ago. The original work went to a good home in Florida.

Landscape format. Across foreground is dry stone wall. Stones are shades of orange, with blue and alizarin in shadow areas, and have many crevice parallel lines. Through spaces between rocks on left, at upper levels, we see a pale blue mountain in distance. Through large gap on right side upper we see yellow 'fields' of stone, another wall in the distance, trees along horizon, and a pink mountain with pale blue one behind it. Sky is yellow. Bottom of wall in front has green grass. Signed bottom right: Liam Daly

St Fachtna’s holy well, an eye-well in the Burren, is marked by a pillar with a ledge housing votive offerings. There is an accompanying rag bush, and two sets of penitential stations, again most likely used as part of a ritualised landscape.
