    Elsberg: I have no doubt that Julian did not want to reveal names and all names could have been prevented from publishing if the Pentagon and the State Department would have just cooperate with his requests to help with the redaction process. But they didn't care.

    Whether or not Obama is pals with any journalists is irrelevant. Overall Trump is prosecuting under the espionage act. There's no evidence colluded and hacked. handed over tapes. Assange published. That's what journalists do under protection of law. 1/

    The password offered to guess would help to hide her as a source; not actually breaking into systems into systems with confidential information.

    So Julian Assange is being railroaded for supposedly helping Chelsea Manning figure out a password—while Bob Woodward suggests lifting classified info through thumb drives and...crickets.
