Reminiscent of 2-yr old Charlie Gard in UK which, despite parents having raised $1M+ to treat their child deemed “terminal” & the Vatican’s offer to fly the child there for research procedure, NHS & courts denied requests & the child died. God forbid others should want the same.

Few years back UK and EU courts were preventing parents from taking their sick baby to the US for experimental treatment they had raised funds for bc the state deemed him a lost cause.
