    Careworkers can go home at the end of shift (usually). From what I've seen, for home carers it's on a different level There is nobody I value more in our society Just because they've been dealt a poor hand, why should Govt + Society do the same? Pay them properly

    Last week we celebrated , yet yesterday they weren't included on the priority list issued by the JCVI. Carers do a huge job in looking after some of our most vulnerable people, so I am asking to look again at that decision.

    ‘Carers save NI state £19 million care bill every day. They need greater recognition of their vital role’- proud to be part of the Coalition of Carers NI, an alliance of 15 VCSE orgs committing to advance the rights of unpaid carers in NI.

    Morning all (just) -much better night last night. Today focusing on positive. Last week wrote 3 blog posts, supported , grateful to all my twitter friends, helped mum through 2 scary nights & we both shook that yes you can regrow veg ends in water leek & sp onion

  16. On , I want to send a heartfelt thank you to every carer who has sacrificed so much during the coronavirus pandemic. Unpaid carers deserve a Government which supports them and their loved ones. You are real heroes.

    Young Carers often tell us that they didn’t know they were entitled to a Young Carers Needs assessment- Did you know all are legally entitled to be offered an assessment upon identification under the Children&Families Act 2014.
