  4. Both parties voted for trillions to bail out bankers at the drop of a hat. Why won't they bail out 45M Americans struggling under the burden of crushing student loan debt? We need to elect people like who will & free a generation from Wall Street!

Republicans are opposed to canceling student loan debt because, the more educated people are, the less likely they are to vote Republican.

  8. Pushing student loans was always a scammy attempt to profit off of young people who need education. They shouldn't have existed in the first place.

I want to be able to buy a house & be financially secure enough that my dad can retire. The “American Dream” that older generations preach about is literally unreachable because we’re trapped beneath trillions of dollars in student debt.

When a generous family member made my student loans go away, I was able to buy a house with my husband, begin to set a little aside for retirement, pay off my car twice as fast, and start buying better-quality coats/shoes instead of cheap crap.

  17. Over 45 million Americans carry a burden of over $1.5 trillion in student loan debt, with the average graduate shackled to over $35K in debt. An entire generation trapped in indentured servitude to Wall Street. This is holding our entire society back. now!

In the 1970’s, tuition for public colleges for two semesters was about $2,800. That means that if you graduated in 4 years, you’d be in debt for $24,800. A lot of money? Yes. But you could pay it off. Now University’s charge $24,000 per year. Think about that.

  19. Because teenagers shouldn't be commited to pay back a loan they are told they HAVE to get in order to be educated and financially viable.

I no longer have student debt, but I fully support this. It was heavy on my thought owing 24k. I could only lmagine those who owe so much more. It's a heavy mental stress to think of your debt. Think about the people in the low-mid income bracket. It's too much.
