    and I'm doing a PhD with the Cetacean Strandings Investigation Program looking at the effects of chemical pollution on cetaceans in the UK

  5. Tonight we’ll be tuning in to with at 7pm. This is a fantastic opportunity to watch a live cetacean necropsy, and discover how the experts gather vital information to determine what caused a common dolphin to strand in Devon last month 🐬

    As well as responding to live marine mammals, Our volunteers also work alongside helping retrieve deceased mammals for research and necropsy. This porpoise was recovered late last night at Barmston East Yorkshire.

    please can you tell people that in the UK have a disentanglement team that will try and rescue entangled whales if still live but we rely on being called, and time can be vital.
