    Thinking about gratitude recently is making me realise one very clear thing. How resourceful survivors of are. No matter what comes our way we have a deep inner strength. The worst has already happened and we SURVIVED. You can do this. You are all warriors.

  13. As a person with I think its inappropriate to ask someone what/how they "got" PTSD. Because i share my diagnosis doesnt automatically make you privy to that information. If i choose to share, then i will.

    Counselling wk 3 has hit hard today. I feel like I’m letting them down as I’m unable to engage especially when I dissociate all the time. I know she’s struggling with me and every time she tries I push her away. Feel like I’m pushing my last chance away

    When it's a doozy I catch myself pleading with my inner roommate (like I did as a child): "I'm not the worst.." "I'm not as bad as you say.." Usually tears & uncontrolled sobbing accompany these flashes. I'm 51. Wtf is wrong with me?

    Therapy for me and him Therapy for me alone. Also I see a physiologist for my past survivor my thankfully our children survived it all and are doing great with therapy for them and family therapy.
