I’ve been vaccinated, because I’m confident the vaccines are safe- I’ve seen the data, and know that minorities have been involved in the clinical trials- as scientists, study participants, and reviewers.

At first I was sworn against it so now I want to be the first black woman who takes the vaccine in North Carolina. My sons told me they wanted it so they can play sports. I need to lead my children in this. I feel encouraged!

Not only do I believe these vaccines are incredibly safe, but with a greater than 90% efficacy, they are one of our best tools to protect ourselves and our loved ones, and get back to normal.

Pharmacists are the most accessible healthcare providers within the community. The CDC should provide a special educational manual or a recorded lecture regarding the vaccines and how to adequately educate the public.
