    Can you imagine if this were your house? Heavy rains in , caused that washed away 30 homes and filled others, like this one, with mud. Families who lost their homes are staying with friends and relatives.

    I lost my uncle and his whole family to the Bududa land slides in 2012, I know what it means to lose a loved one in such😢 Prayers to whoever is hurting and may the souls of the deceased in yesterdays catastrophe RIP🙏

    One of the mudslides survivors who was dug from the debris by volunteers following today's landslides/mudslides in Bududa district, eastern Uganda. Twenty five people have been confirmed dead, over 400 are believed to be missing.

    This follows the landslides last year in . After the landslides, through the Ministry of disaster preparedness acquired land to construct 900 houses for purposes of resettling the affected families.
