    asked for serial number of the modem in my new house and I advised that one has not been been fitted so can’t provide one. Spending fortune on data and still no update as to when this will be resolved.

  11. After a 17 day wait for phone and broadband services to be fixed in central Edinburgh after storm damage, engineer finally arrived and restored connectivity. Many thanks.

  13. UPDATE: Thanks for confirming that repairs to phone line/broadband will take place 17 days after storm damage but not before Christmas. Could have been done when engineer was up phone poll (twice) fixing neighbours lines. Very poor 'service'.

    If I were a BT openreach employee, virgin media, Sky or just about every broadband supplier, I would definitely not be voting labour. TUPE applied. Who in their right mind would want public sector pay, reduced annual leave, not to mention the stress.

    has a monopoly on broadband installation. It’s a private company (thanks to the Tories) doing a worse than mediocre job & failing to provide universal access to internet service, while making a lot of money for shareholders. Wtf was going on about?

    Hey ⁦ your repair team are parked across white zigzags on a zebra crossing, Westbury Rd Bristol. Next to a school and retirement home - very busy road. They told me it’s an “emergency” and not got time to park legally.

  20. Had a call from a someone posing as @BTOpenreach telling me my computer was being hacked obviously a scam and I didn’t follow the instructions given, I can not repeat what she said I was doing with my father when I didn’t do as she said!! 🤬
