  7. What Britain (former empire, major economy) had for many years was managed decline. It even began a peaceful transformation into something new: a thriving member of the EU. What Britain has now with is unmanaged decline or, rather, wilful self-destruction.

    New EU roaming charges, now reintroduced by phone companies, are shocking. Does not one of them think that this makes them look like they are taking advantage of to boost profits and shaft customers?

    The 10% increase in NI is a not a NHS tax. The ONS are predicting a 4% fall relative productivity & 4% fall in relative GDP as a result of Boris Johnson’s deal. Part of this fall has already happened. Why isn't reporting this?

    U.K. no longer in Germany’s top 10 grade partners, per Reuters. Get imports of U.K. goods off 11%…exports to U.K. up 2.6%…total trade down 2.3%. That’s before impacts of full U.K. border controls on imports to U.K. from Oct/Jan.

    I wonder if Patel's obscene Channel announcement is a smokescreen for the appalling trade news from Germany & imminent scrapping of import controls due on Oct 1 due to the likely scale of the ensuing shortages. Even Johnson must recognise a looming catastrophy.

    It’s absolutely clear that David Frost and the British negotiating team were completely out of their depth. It was simply too big and complex a task to handle. They have left our nation in a desperate mess
