    I have been living in Kolkata for 4 years and can say with confidence that this observation is utterly false. but punish them first.

    I guess main problem is the discrimination betwn non Hindi speaking Bengali & Hindi speaking people. Bengalis who are unable to speak fluent Hindi are always look down upon. Also most of the stores with Non Bengali owners look down upon the Bengali customers
