    Wow. DC police in riot gear are currently blocking residents from the Black Lives Matter plaza, standing directly on the performative street painting... on the orders of the same mayor who put it there in the first place!

    Police still have Black Lives Matter Plaza blocked at 16th and I. I was told the main reason was so crews could clean the streets and the park behind them. There are a small number of protesters here, some media also. Unclear how long they will continue to block this off.

    While Criminal Rayshard Brooks is celebrated on news channels here are a couple faces you’ve probably never seen. 3 year old Mekhi James and 13 year old Amaria J Jones, both shot and killed last Saturday in Chicago. These are only 2 of the five kids that were shot last weekend.
