    Helping with service as we took part in the RSPB School this morning. It came as a huge surprise to find we share our school with so many birds! 👀

    Looked out of my kitchen window today, & no word of a lie, there were 12 Goldfinches, 4 Greenfinches, 2 Chaffinches, a female Blackbird, a Reed Bunting, a male Blackcap, Starlings, a Woodpigeon & a little Jenny Wren outside! 😮 Must've heard the was over...

    This afternoons ! A lot of hedge removing and tree cutting from neighbouring gardens meant fewer birds visited this year. Just a Wren in the birdbath I set up in the hour

    this beautiful Jay (garrulus glandarius) consumed 14 peanuts in one visit! Amazing! thats 151 calories-fat 13.23g, carbs 3.85g & protein 7.06g! unless it regurgitates & hoards? ⁦
