    I agree. Even if they're using 'populist' in an idiosyncratic way that strikes me as a poor decision. Presumably, as a journalist, you want to communicate the terms 'liberal,' 'conservative,' 'libertarian' as readers understand them, not in your special way.

    Brock is wrong. didn’t engage in personal attacks. He spelled out sharp differences on policy & the reasons for those differences. It’s called POLITICS. The response ought to be to defend or explain those polices, not claim foul & play victim.

    The small portion of the poll that is referring to are those identified as “strong liberal.” There is no option for “progressive.” "Strong liberal" is not defined in the poll and is not the same as "progressive". Also, sample size is very small.
