    -luotaimen tavoitteena on tutkia erityisesti Venuksen kaasukehää, sen käyttäytymistä, lämpötilaa, hiilidioksidin määrää, pilviä ja tuulia. Mukana suomalaisia tutkijoita ja viisi laitteita ja ohjelmistoja rakentavia 'n yritystä.

    Bepi on ottanut hienoja kuvia Merkuriuksesta ensimmäisen ohilennon aikana. Vielä neljä vuotta ja luotain on kiertoradalla ja instrumentit saadaan päälle. Odottavan aika on pitkä. Itse aloitin vuonna 2007, toiset jo paljon aiemmin.

    The first fly by over of has been a success. Firsts images arrived with overexposure but, here we can see the first one with a good quality and sharpness. Waiting for more…and as it is expected the probe will do several fly byes…
