    Rest in peace Sahar..

    Today was meant to be Sahar Fares’ wedding. A firefighter and paramedic, she died in the Beirut explosion. Her fiancé, donated all the money previously set aside for their big day to the needy in the two villages she used to love; Qaa and Jadideh.

    [Thread]Yesterday marked 10 months since , I remember it as if it was yesterday. I was doing live reports for but my heart was pounding fast since some friends went missing, among them, my childhood friend Chadi.

    My daughter is graduating from school & yesterday was their fun day celebrating. As much as I am elated I’m equally gutted that other parents were criminally robbed of that chance due to . Schizophrenic feelings of joy & sorrow. No happiness complete

    10 months after the devastating , our teams are still providing mental health services in different Primary Healthcare Centers across Lebanon. All the services are free and confidential and available to everyone residing in Lebanon. @NMHPLebanonn

    After 10 months we just read “Insects and rats are feeding on the grain, which has been lying outside fermenting under the rain and now in the heat, spreading foul odours and germs” That’s a metaphor for the Lebanese rotten situation!!

    French company to clear 30,000 tonnes of insect-infested grain that was in the giant port silos at the time of the explosion on August 4.
