    A date of Up to February 2021 has been given for Appeal to be heard. My SPA April 2021. It will have been Six years of absolute hell by then!! Nevertheless backing all the way!!

  7. Many 50s women were born into poverty. We lived through it, we worked our way out of it, many pushed back into it by having our SP stolen! Poverty isn’t new but it is WRONG and government is responsible for it - 50s women are not! No letter No Notice No Pension

    Trade Unions support women. Women now struggling towards new state pension ages in absence of any practical help from anywhere, ask Union rep or apply for a hardship grant.

  9. The DWP said it understands "the impact that waiting for an investigation can have on people and their families." - Really? 50's Pensionless Women Still Waiting 4 yrs down the line, suicides/ill health/lost homes and health

    Initially we were DOB and numbers on paper and I don’t think they thought past that. Once they knew the SPA change info wasn’t getting through, to decide over and over to maintain the silence was criminal. The cost of a letter would have saved the cost to women’s lives.

    A growing number of women over 65 are going bankrupt. Not the way most people see retirement. I expect to say that raising state pension age has played a part in this.

    💐well done and well said. Women should work together to tackle gender discrimination , but also work together with men and women to solve it Please consider supporting to eliminate past & present discrimination against women 👉

  18. Many 50s women, without legislative protection, were excluded from company pension schemes. We paid tax on all earnings, increasing Treasury monies which supported tax free pension contributions - ergo men built larger pension pots at our expense - double whammy.
