    Finally got around to pulling my dash cam footage from the on 9/19 from Big Pines Hwy and Largo Vista. Smoke Whirl or “Smoke-Nado” as some like to call it. provided me with the meteorological explanation of this phenomenon. (1/3)

    NEW RESCUE: We recently welcomed this survivor to our CA Sanctuary! The man caring for her contacted us when he realized her needs were significant. Against all odds, this young turkey survived a wildfire, found her way to someone kind, & is now safe at Sanctuary.
