Qs: Why aren't we banning fracking in BC (i.e.. LNG, since all natural gas is now from fracking here), and why isn't there a group advocating a fracking ban here? Is Kinder Morgan the only climate/environmental cause for BCers? Why the shutout of other issues?

I have traveled all over the world, and Vancouver is definitely the least consumer/tourist friendly. 1) No ridesharing, only overpriced taxis 2) Very limited Airbnb because of strict homesharing regs 3) Limited car rental options, made worse by no ridesharing

  6. It's bizarre how conservatives in BC see a slight increase in the size of electoral ridings via referendum as an existential threat, while conservatives in Ontario happily double the size of Toronto council ridings without so much as a single consultation session.

KM wanted an exit strategy and the Canadian government gave them one. Imagine if the federal government instead put $10 billion into driving a clean tech revolution in Canada. That would be real climate leadership.

First it was the Edward Cornwallis statue here in . Now it's Sir John A MacDonald statue in Victoria, It's time to stand up to the politically correct and their war on Canadian history. Click here if you agree:

So Sir John A MacDonald statue taken down maybe a good step? Taking the Washington Redskins or Cleveland Indians or Edmonton Eskimos down is suppose to make my communities a better place to live? Let’s keep our eye on the ball folks

Nice work David Eby, Bowinn Ma, and BC NDP sowing division amongst us. My sign protesting the School Tax has been vandalized and/or stolen on four separate occasions off private property. I have seen many others vandalized in my neighbourhood as well.

  12. Here is the response from on Eby’s money laundering letter.

Attorney General David Eby has sent this letter to Liberal leader Andrew Wilkinson asking him to waive secrecy rules and release cabinet documents on money laundering. Chance of this happening: zero.

City of Burnaby is arguing Camp Cloud is appropriating land, trying to displace the camp. Arguments in court are troubling when considering public space with the right to protest. Claiming fire safety when there’s construction of a giant explosive tank farm happening...

  17. The NDP's new union payoff agreement pays workers less than minimum wage while forcing 85% of workers to unionize. Who are the NDP really helping?

BOLD PREDICTION: today’s rate changes will ostensibly create savings for 2/3s of drivers, BUT all rates will increase so that nobody actually saves anything. I think this is an attempt to hoodwink reporters into creating the narrative that most people will pay less.

I just got served a No PR ad on FB (which I regrettably didn't screenshot) attacking the math behind PR as too complicated. It was BS anti-intellectualism when did that in the House of Commons & it is BS anti-intellectualism when the no campaign does it here

  21. The theory: "First-past-the-post creates moderate, 'big-tent' parties via brokerage politics." The reality: Tory senator "amazed" to meet a white nationalist. FPTP doesn't keep extreme parties out of power – it gives them 100% power with just 39% of the vote.
