    This is definitely concerning. I know the organisers are committed and want to hold the event but it’s F1 that I’m worried about.. Our vaccination rates are rising more everyday, and I just really hope we can hold the race next year and open up. Via Joe Saward

    My favourite thing about the is how, every year (even outside of COVID times), we're told it's gonna be taken away from Melbourne. And then magically, 48hrs later, it's latest iteration is announced.

    I think the one positive will be that many Melbourne residents who were ambivalent to F1 and the pre pandemic now realise what a great event the is for the city. It will be incredibly popular once it reuturns and hopefully with 2 Aussies on the grid!
