    Truly, how much labor goes into stewardship (processing, conservation, maintenance, public services). Most of this work is time-consuming, intensive, and long-term. Deprioritizing that labor is gonna get you in hot water.

    I just said this elsewhere, but I feel like it needs to be said here- if you are an author, you are also a business. Keeping copies of your writing and documenting your work processes makes good business sense and will help you down the line.
