Of the 150k Filipino Veterans who fought in WW2, only around 2,500 r still alive. In 2019, PRRD signed a law increasing their pension from P5k to P20k, a 300% increase. Sadly, many of them did not live to enjoy this. It took a 'dictator' for them to be heard. #ArawNgKagitingan

April 9 was the time thousands of our soldiers during the World War II have fallen and was one of the darkest days in the history of the PH but we shouldn't forget to pay tribute to our veterans who fearlessly defended Bataan, Corregidor and the whole country #ArawNgKagitingan

Dambana ng Kagitingan atop Mt. Samat in Pilar Bataan, barely visible from Quezon City. Here’s hoping we don’t forget those who fought for our freedom and that we continue the fight as a tribute to their memory and their ultimate sacrifice. #ArawNgKagitingan

It's been decades since the Fall of Bataan happened, yet imperialism still poses as a problem for national democracy. We can never claim our country to be truly independent so long as we remain tied down by foreign forces that control our economy and politics! #ArawNgKagitingan
