Everyone, @Amtrak is no longer doing the Toys For Tots Train because it "doesn't fall within their new policy." This kind of greed is disgusting. Amtrak is a multi-million, if not billion dollar company. Poor children don't need toys as long as the CEO stays rich, right? #Amtrak

#Amtrak has decided to stop delivering Toys for Tots. As much as I have always wanted to take a train ride across the US, I will not be doing so! Shame on Amtrak! And before you say it is costing them money to do so, they get ALL that money back with tax accounting!

#amtrak keeps getting worse and worse. Now you get charged a % if you dont cancell within 8 days prior to your departure. The voucher was always a great option, specially for those of us who travel a few times a week with @AmtrakNEC

#Amtrak #wolverine 353 departed 10:30 AM from Detroit heading to Chicago #today broke down along the railway due to engine failure. Supposed to be at Chicago around 3 pm but now stuck at Albion, Michigan.

Can we make it a rule across #Amtrak trains that you must silence your phone regardless of the car you’re in, simply because we’re trying to live in a society here?

I have spent a fair amount of my life traveling along the NE corridor via #Amtrak. From my six years in the Boston area to the past eight years in the DC area, I usually find a calming influence from the rails. This evening ride from NYC to DC has been meditative and relaxing.
