  2. Each day, I am deeply saddened to learn of the New Mexicans we’ve lost to COVID-19. My prayers are with their families and loved ones who are mourning. We must honor their lives by doing our part to stop the spread of this virus.

  3. We must remain as vigilant as ever to contain and beat the virus; we also must look for ways to lessen the burden on our communities wherever possible, while never swerving from our top priority – protecting New Mexicans and saving lives.

  4. Today's update includes 1,925 new cases and, sadly, 32 additional deaths. There will be a light at the end of this tunnel, but we have to work together to get there. Please continue to do everything you can to protect New Mexico and slow the spread.

  7. Health care workers are counting on us to protect them and protect their patients – not just COVID patients, but all patients who need hospital beds to be available. We have been at this precipice for some time now – we have to work together to back away from it.

  9. Continue to stay at home , and practice social distancing when you must run essential errands like getting groceries, gas or medical care. People will NOT be stopped by law enforcement to ask where they are going, or if they are essential workers.
