    day (again) today after the algorithm debacle in Aug. Rather than accepting the cards she was dealt, my niece chose to resit. Her results today were A*AAA. There are no words to articulate how proud I am of her: she’s off to Med school in 2021.

    The kid got an A in his maths A level!! He might keep quiet about it but I’m super proud of him! Was 12 when he took it and has taught himself because he just loves

    I can’t believe that only 16% of students have accurate predicted grades 😱 Clearly the system we have in the UK of using predicted grades is unreliable. After the scandal this summer, I think it’s about time we change the system!

    That we’re even talking about the fiasco as a tech issue, and allowing/encouraging the government to do so, makes us look like mediaeval peasants in superstitious awe of the written word... this was a system of rules set by exam moderators, not even the programmers
