    Adam Schlesinger died one year ago today, the first musician’s death from COVID-19 that we heard about. Too many more would follow.

    With the title song for the 1996 film, , wrote one of the most memorable & inventive movie songs in generations. And the left him out of their "in memoriam" segment? What an inexplicable oversight!

    The In Memoriam intro had a speech about all the people we lost to Covid and then skipped over an Oscar nominee we lost to Covid. Great work.
