What you voted for Arizona. She fits right in with that New York State of mind.

Looks like Martha McSally was sworn in before Kyrsten Sinema. 12:20 – McSally 12:23 – Sinema. Not sure if this impacts seniority, but just an observation.

Martha is hardly a Trump supporter, which is why she lost. Enough conservatives were sick of the weak McCain/Flake that they couldn't stomach a vote for her. She brought in Romney & Bush to campaign for her. She is a clueless RINO.

I like Ruben Gallego’s ideology, but I feel like Grant Woods might be more electable in a statewide race against Martha McSally. Hard choices coming ahead tbh.

I think Grant Woods or Ruben Gallego would be great Senate candidates in 2020. Woods would easily attract a few moderate Republicans and tons of former McCain voters, and Gallego would do really well in Maricopa County, which was key to Sinema's victory.

It’s become the consensus that Gallego wouldn’t be a good candidate and I’m not sure why that is. I don’t read him as particularly lefty and he’s a veteran, etc.

Why would evangelicals want a non-Christian to engage in a phony display of Christian religiosity? 🤔 New Testament comes down pretty hard on religious hypocrisy, as I recall.

She'll also be the state's first female senior Senator and the Senate's first openly bisexual member. But that was never a huge part of the campaign. Instead, her clothes and shoes became a bigger factor, as gender dynamics played a role in
