    As firefighters continue to work multiple incidents in - a reminder that wildfires are a 🚫 drone zone! If you fly we can’t. Flying a drone near a fire jeopardizes the safety of aircraft, firefighters, & the communities they are working so hard to protect.

    *BRUSH FIRE UPDATE* US 70 is now OPEN to light traffic (no semis) between Globe and Fort Thomas. SR 77 remains closed from Globe to Winkelman. SR 177 remains closed from Superior to Winkelman. There is no estimated time to reopen the highways.

    in at 90% containment- 150 acres. All state & federal resources released. turned fire back over to local district. Final update on Spur unless there is significant change. The human caused fire started Thrs. & destroyed multiple structures.

    Update: The fire is currently 5 miles southwest of Top-of-the-World, burning east parallel to US 60. Resolution Mines has voluntarily evacuated.

    Fire crews are responding to the located off Hwy 177, south of Superior. Fire is burning in rugged terrain. Aviation resources are currently working fire. This fire is visible from several locations in and around Superior.
