    Hello hello! It’s Friday night(!) and Amanda will be our bouncer at the Pulaski County Election Commission meeting. Get your temp taken and come join the fun! Commission is expected to finish counting the ballots tonight for final results.

    546 ballots just run through the machine. A decent number got kicked out and will have to be remade before they can be counted. Now Amanda here will take the info from the counting machine on a thumb drive to a computer, and the total unofficial counts will be updated.

    Ritchie details the process of provisional voting she has done a bunch of times. She went to cure her ballot after her name was on absentee cure list. A note on her file says “no ID”. But commissioners agree, her vote will count! Wonder if others are out there.

    The flap about missing ballots was remedied completely before the count was finalized. Good job! Commissioners worked through the night to make their decisions on which ballots could be counted and which couldn’t. It was pretty intense.

    Important to note, the 327 wrongfully counted absentee ballots came from registered voters who simply made some clerical mistakes and oversights on the paperwork. If they weren’t registered2vote the clerk would not have sent them the absentee ballots they requested.
