#AMuS The Ferrari and Alpine tend to porposing in slow motion, as if they had a mass damper on board, which of course has long been banned. Red Bull and McLaren seem to have little or no bouncing.

Red Bull got rid of the bouncing with the big upgrade in Bahrain testing, the underbody and sidepods were new. Since Red Bull surprised themselves by gaining 0.75s, the competition assumes that Adrian Newey's team found their way out of the bouncing trap by accident. #AMuS #F1

Some cars drive up to 40mm higher than planned. That costs up to 40 points of downforce (over 1s). And to compensate, more vehicle height and larger wings dramatically increase drag. It's just a coincidence that Mercedes, McLaren and AM all have a Mercedes engine. #F1 #AMuS
