Newly hatched polar cod in normal conditions vs ones influenced by crude oil @ 0.25 parts per billion concentration (not much). Their eggs acted like oil sponges concentrating it for a while. Young fry were deformed & unable to feed. Mortality rates worse in warmer H2O.
