  6. As just noted, right now that only applies to those CURRENTLY receiving ACA subsidies. Divided across ALL ACA enrollees, it’s only $3,800 apiece...exactly why the bill is quite reasonable. Adding $1,800/ea would just bring them up to par with employer coverage.

    The ACA subsidies effectively serve the same function as employer contributions to company policies. The biggest difference is that unlike employer coverage, ACA subsidies cut off at 400% FPL. That’s why we need .
