    On this day in 28.1.2003 - Kuchma and Putin signed the Agreement on the Russian-Ukrainian border, which the Russian Federation violated in 2014. The treaty is still valid, in it Crimea is Ukraine.

    I visited Crimea in 2003 & 2004. When we were back in Ukraine in 2013, we were looking forward to going the next summer. Then .

    This is a photo from the last time I was in before the annexation. Hope to see the Ukrainian flag there again soon, this time accompanied by the Crimean Tatar flag (Qırım bayrağı).
