Good thing the Board put Prop E on the ballot last year, which rezoned thousands of lots across the city for 100% affordable housing and streamlined the development process. Good thing they also legalized ADUs and expanded PDAs to the Westside for the first time.

That’s why it’s great that
@JackieFielder_ is calling for the state to raise $100 billion of tax revenue over ten years for a California Housing Emergency Fund. Funny how Scott opposed Prop C, the last progressive tax to fund affordable housing...https://jackieforsenate.com/issues1 reply 1 proslijeđeni tweet 2 korisnika označavaju da im se sviđa -

Assuming $500k/unit (an optimistic projection) this would only build 200k units. Los Angeles alone has a shortage of 500k; the state 3+ million. The gap can’t be closed by public/affordable housing alone; market rate housing is part of the solution.

San Francisco is currently exceeding our Regional Housing Needs goals for market-rate housing and failing to meet our goals for very low, low, and moderate income housing. Market rate developers are doing just fine, they don’t need your help.

If only there was a bill that would’ve made market rate developers set aside a portion of their units for lower income or contribute to affordable housing funds.

SB50 would create fewer affordable housing units than it would eliminate as a result of redeveloping 100% affordable, rent controlled apartment buildings into larger, mostly market rate buildings.

Another lie, and another perfect example of how SB50 opponents like your club and
@JackieFielder_ have no regard for the truth. SB50 has a prohibition on redeveloping parcels that have had any renter in the last 7 years. No affordable housing would be demolished with the bill.0 replies 0 proslijeđenih tweetova 5 korisnika označava da im se sviđaHvala. Twitter će to iskoristiti za poboljšanje vaše vremenske crte.
