What exactly do you mean by a "misguided stereotype"? If you mean the rough, masculine types, like my Grandfather, who fought in WWII....you and I are gonna take it outside... BTW, I prefer Gillette.

We have immense respect for the men and women who have and continue to serve our country day in and day out. We also feel that the men that don't fit the traditional stereotype deserve respect as well.

We agree! It's great to be masculine. We just want to see the definition to reflect other qualities that are important. The current one is a little narrow.

Most of the concepts you decry here are good ideas for both men and women. Being a self-indulgent, emotionally fragile whiner isn't helpful for either sex - though I know it's quite popular in
#Feminist circles these days. -
We don't "decry" them. We just want to see the definition expand to include other important traits like humility, honesty and decency.
