Mr. President, let’s set politics aside. My husband earned all his accolades after a lifetime of service. I’m preparing for the first holiday season without the man I love. You brought me down in a way you can never imagine and your hurtful words just made my healing much harder.
He was a great man and we all miss him! I’m very sorry about this but just know he was beloved and respected by so many! He was a great teacher for young folks like me who just wanted to make a difference!

I've only met Jamie when he was in Austin but I do think that Trump attacking Debbie and her late husband is totally inappropriate. Will say again how sorry I am and how I wish I could do something.
