The future of Islamic finance lies in tech-enabled, real economy, asset-based, profit-sharing finance. I don't believe Islamic banks - incl digital Isl banks- are interested in pursuing this. Watch this space. IF is being reinvented to get closer to its ideals.

Ppl often ask what's the point criticising if you have no solution. We do have solutions but raising finance is the challenge. Most big investors are herd-like/conservative. The future of Islamic finance will come from visionary entrepreneurs. We need to back them $$$ 2/2
